 Home-cooked meals are better than fast food

 In modern society, many people enjoy fast food. The reason why fast food could be so popular is because people these days are very busy. They have lots of things to do. As amount of work increased, however, rate of obesity increased too. This shows that people are not keeping a healthy diet. People should eat home-cooked meals rather than fast food.

 Unlike the past, there are many fat people. The main reason is fast food. People eat non-healthy ingredients, oily foods, and eat them fast. People have to eat fast because they are busy. So they constantly eat fast foods. This is why fast food is not beneficial compared with home cooked meals. If we cook, its believable and dependable. Home cooked meals are trustworthy because home cooked meals are hand made.

 Many people say fast food are cheap so it's economically beneficial. This makes sense, in a short term. As they produce a lot, they sell cheaply. But for the long term, however, charging money to solve obesity would make the consumer pay much more money than just eating home cooked meals. Hospital payment and gym payment are not cheap at all.

 Slowly cooked meals are much more delicious. The seasoning of the food can taste better with long time cooking. So as fast food are fast made, it isn't as delicious as slowly cooked food. Home cooked meals are tastier than fast food. If you want to eat wonderful food, you'd better eat home-cooked meals.

 Some say that fast food are suitable for people that live alone. It is partially true.
For convenience, economy, and time keeping, fast food is superior to home cooked meals. But health overrules everything. If you are not healthy, what would be the point of saving lots of time and money? Just to keep oneself healthy, much time, money, and inconvenience would be wasted.

 In conclusion, home cooked meals are much better than fast food. Home cooked meals keep people healthy. They are trustworthy. Even though they are not economical and convenient, their advantage of keeping one healthy overrules everything. So it is recommended to eat home cooked meals than to eat fast food.

 Clean, white. Not brown, not yellow, not green, or not red. Pure as a snow. Paper on the desk. Billy, sitting and staring at the paper. Stating his opinion on the paper. Billy's greedy face looks very confused. Suddenly, tore in two separate pieces. And then in four pieces. And then in eight pieces. Flew up the sky. Came back like a snow. Another paper comes out. Response Essay of movie 'Brave'

The movie 'brave' is about Merida changing her destiny. She was tired of her mother telling things what to do. Her mother kept ordering. So she tries to change her parents' minds about her getting married. There is danger for her path. Finally, her mother changes and respects Merida's opinion. After that, Merida's family lived happily ever after.

  After I watched this movie, I thought of two things: Merida's difference from other Disney Princesses and a comparison of Merida's parents and my parents. It was hard to choose which I should write. But in conclusion, I'm going to compare and contrast my parents to Merida's parents.

  Merida's parents usually ordered Merida to do things. There were many do's and don'ts for Merida. Merida's mom Elinor always told Merida what to do. Merida hated her mother regulating her. I felt the same feeling as Merida. My parents order me to do something, also. There are too much thing for me to do. And it makes me very stressed, and tired. So I understood what Merida did, which was changing her mother.

  Merida is a princess. So she was expected to do many things. She had to walk straight, be loyal, be confident, and so on. Different from her, I am not a princess,so I don't have many expectations like Merida. However, as I a the first son in my house, I have some expectations from my parents.

Merida worked hard to change her destiny. She finally succeeded to live her own life. But I couldn't do this. I am not brave enough and don't have courage to change my parents' minds. I am kind of satisfied with how I live. So Merida's parents have changed, but my parents didn't.

There were many similarities between my parents and Merida's parents. They both give orders and have expectations. The only difference is Merida's parents changed their mind but mine did not.

There is also a difference between me and Merida. Merida had courage. Merida was brave enough to change her destiny. I will try to be like her in the future. After this camp, I'll talk to my parents right away.

Goals for a month

My visions will be clear only when I can look into my own heart. Who looks inside, dreams; who looks outside, awakes.
For the month I'm in the camp GLPS, I have set three goals.
I will try to keep my goal.
I will eat healthy.
I will study hard.
I will exercise usually.

To eat healthy, I will first stop eating instant snacks. When I eat snacks, I intend not to eat my meal. So to have healthy foods, I will stop eating snacks.
Moreover, I will eat all the food on my plate. I won't leave any food. The food on my plate is the result of the consideration of the teachers to keep students healthy.
The most important thing is to eat regularly. Regular eating is the best eating habit.

To study hard, I will first clean my surroundings. And then, I will concentrate on what I'm doing. And when I start studying, I will sit down and start working. I won't take my butts off the chair.

To exercise usually, I will reduce time spending on playing computer games. And then I will    go to the gym when I have a free time. In addition, I will walk instead of going by car.

So these are the goals I want to achieve this year.
